*Please keep in mind that we stop selling walk-in tickets 45 minutes before closure. To guarantee entry, reservations are highly recommended.
Purchase your admission ticket to gain entry into both the museum and center. Admission is timed and capacity is limited. Tickets are nonrefundable, we are able to reschedule tickets at your request.

Free admission is available during the Riverside Arts Walk (First Thursday of each month, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.), First Sundays (First Sunday of each month, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Free Summer Sundays (Every Sunday, June 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025).

Parking Information
Metered street and lot parking is available along Mission Inn Ave. Click here for more info about parking and a map of parking areas located downtown.
Many large-scale downtown events occur along Mission Inn Avenue throughout the year. Please be advised that street closures regularly take place during these events, e.g., Festival of Lights, Dia de los Muertos, etc., which will affect parking and drop-off/pick-up. We thank you for your understanding and encourage guests to consider using public transportation.
Public Transportation Information
Metrolink is proud to serve as the LINK between six Southern California counties and the Riverside Art Museum/The Cheech, with safe, seamless and reliable train transportation. A $10 Weekend Day Pass can be purchased via Metrolink’s mobile app and is valid for unlimited systemwide trips on Saturday or Sunday. Kids 17 and under ride for free on weekends when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
To reach the Riverside Art Museum/Cheech Marin Center, take the Metrolink Riverside Line, 91 Perris Valley or Inland Empire-Orange County Line trains to the Riverside-Downtown station and walk .05 miles (about 10 minutes) to the museums. RTA provides both local and regional services throughout the region with 32 local routes, three CommuterLink express routes, on-demand GoMicro microtransit service and Dial-A-Ride services using 277 vehicles. In the cities of Corona, Beaumont and Banning, RTA coordinates regional services with municipal transit systems. In Riverside, RTA coordinates with the city’s Riverside Special Services, which provides ADA complementary service to RTA’s fixed-route services.

Free and Reduced Price Admission Programs
RAM is proud to be a Blue Star Museum. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
RAM is proud to be part of Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. Show us your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit/credit card and photo ID on the first full weekend of each month and get in free!

Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Association of Children’s Museums and the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences to offer a signature access program that encourages families of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. Show us your Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) or WIC card and photo ID to receive discounted admission ($1 per person) for up to 4 people. RAM’s participation in Museums for All is part of our mission to seek, include, and welcome all.

The National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association, together with its state and local member programs, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive. RAM is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire to offer free admission to all “Bigs” showing their badges and their accompanying “Littles”. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire opened its doors in 2013 with the help of the Orange County agency, recognizing the mentoring void in the region. Serving more than 600 children each year in the metro regions of Riverside and San Bernardino counties, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Empire has quality mentoring models that are changing lives of children in the region. Altura Credit Union has partnered with The Cheech and released a debit card design, featuring the work of CiCi Segura Gonzales. Visitors with the card will have unlimited admission to The Cheech (3581 Mission Inn Ave) and the Riverside Art Museum (3425 Mission Inn Ave), plus entry with an additional guest.
