Celebrate the centennial of ada m. passaro, a Riverside artist known for her vibrant plein air paintings. This special exhibit showcases four of her works, with two pledged to the museum’s permanent collection.

Born in Chicago in 1924, Passaro moved to California as a child and started her artistic journey at Chouinard Art Institute. She later became an art director, ran a beloved gift shop in Riverside, and rekindled her passion for painting at Riverside Community College. With a career spanning over 80 years, Passaro continues to inspire with her enduring love for art.

An exhibition of her work is also on view at Riverside Community Arts Association, September 26 to October 26, 2024.
