Join The Balancing Act artist Taylor Moon Castagnari as she leads a demonstration on how to make cheer bows! With ribbon, hot glue, rhinestones, and a hair tie, you can easily create a beautiful hair bow that can be worn for a variety of occasions. Afterward, Moon Castagnari will guide you through a chant frequently used in sporting events and teach the basics of cheer motions.

The Balancing Act artist Taylor Moon Castagnari will guide you in creating locker magnets, a celebrated tradition in school sporting environments. This event is suitable for all ages. Moon Castagnari will show participants how to decorate foam cutouts of various sports symbols and adhere them to a magnet. Customize the magnet with your name, school, or team!

Taylor Moon Castagnari’s artist talk will dive into the connections between psychology, the brain, and cheerleading. She will relay how her 8 years of experience as a cheerleader and her journey with mental health led her to ideate her solo exhibition, The Balancing Act. She will compare how balance, flexibility, and synchronicity are necessary elements in both cheer and neuroscience. We hope you will take part in this engaging talk about mental health!
