Building Big and Small!

Create 3D sculptures from small clay sculptures to large cardboard dioramas.
This class will focus on “building” new skills in sculpture.
Minecraft Art Class

Does your kid love Minecraft? This themed art class will explore different mediums while focusing on your kids favorite game! We will draw, paint, and sculpt in the pixel art style.

Australian and Pacific Islander Art History Class
October 2–October 30 [Ages 8–15]
Go Down under and island hop in this art class where students will discover different cultures and create art inspired by the aboriginals of Australia to contemporary artists in Hawaii.
Procreate Fun
November 6–December 11 (no class November 27) [Ages 8–15]
In this class, students will create digital art through the Procreate app. Students can choose to bring their personal iPads or use an iPad provided by the museum.

Watercolor Painting
October 3–October 31 [Ages 6–15]
This class will help artists learn about the wonderful world of watercolor. From brushstroke techniques. Color theory, and creating texture and layers. This class will help those that want to build their skill in watercolors.
Printmaking
November 7–December 12 (No class November 28)[Ages 6-15]
Discover the exciting world of printing by learning basic techniques such as stamping, monoprinting and relief printing. We’ll explore various materials and tools like foam sheets, rubber blocks, and found objects to create unique prints, allowing students to develop their artistic skills while expressing their creativity. This class fosters imagination, problem-solving, and fine motor skills in a fun and supportive environment, allowing students to create beautiful prints they can be proud of.

In this series of “Homeschool” classes, students will have the opportunity to build their art skills across five sessions that explore Painting Skills or Mixed Media techniques.. Every week, students can experiment with a range of tools and materials, experience the fun of making art, and express themselves as they create individual art pieces of their own!

Class RegistrationCancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your registration, a request must be submitted in writing and received one week prior to the start of class. A 15% fee is retained for cancellation by enrollee. No exceptions. *We require a minimum number of students to hold a class. In case of cancellation, parents will be notified through given contact information.
Scholarships are available from the following funds: Dottie Smith Scholarship Fund, Littleworth Scholarship Fund, Dorothy Blunden Scholarship Fund, Jacqueline M. Smith Memorial Fund, and Art Alliance Scholarship Fund.
