Are you an artist that wants to engage, inspire and help grow creativity?
We are looking for artists to do live demonstrations, performances or art activities with our visitors on our First Sundays and/or Artswalk. These are free admission days and a great opportunity for meeting and interacting with the community and inspiring others in your passions. The activities will be free to visitors to either participate in or observe. There will be a stipend of $150-$300 depending on what supplies you will be providing. This will be a collaboration between you (the artist) and RAM.
Examples on what we are looking for includes: plein air painters, face painters, balloons artists, comic book artists that can teach a short activity, ceramics wheel throwing demonstration, jewelry making demo, marionette performance, Dj’s, improv, saxophone performance etc.
We are currently looking for artist @ RAM (Julia Morgan Building) for January 2025-May 2025 at the following events:
First Sundays (First Sunday of the month 1:00-4:00pm) (arrive 12:30pm, leave by 4:30)
Artswalk: First Thursday of the Month 6:00pm-900pm (arrive by 5:30pm leave by 9:30)
We are currently looking for artist @ The Cheech for August 2025-December 2025 at the following events:
First Sundays (First Sunday of the month 1:00-4:00pm) (arrive 12:30pm, leave by 4:30)

Please note: This is not a vendor opportunity, you will not be allowed to sell anything to visitors. You can pass out business cards and promote yourself though!

This is for our programming window between January 2025 -May 2025. We will contact you when we need someone for a particular month.
We will have a table and chairs available. After we reach out for an event we will discuss with you any other needs.
You can let us know your preference but when we contact you we will let you know where we plan to have you on site.
