Paulden Evans’s new iron sculpture installation, featured on the RAM sculpture pad, reflects the playful, yet labor-intensive spirit that permeates the artist’s work. The sculpture’s amalgamation of abstract shapes and intrinsic patterns create a visual labyrinth for the viewer to explore and observe from various angles. The towering metal sculpture reflects Paulden’s unique style that most of his artwork comprises, evoking an emotive response of awe and wonder for its complexity. As a whole, the sculpture’s detail and precision ultimately radiates the intensive process of its creation and Paulden’s distinct perception of art.
