Do you know the fascinating story of the Riverside Art Association and the Julia Morgan Building? Sixty years ago, children swam and played in the Riverside YWCA indoor pool. Today that space is an art gallery in a historic building. How did we get here? To find out, we’ll hear from Walter Parks, who served on the board of what was then called the Riverside Art Center. He’ll reveal the origins of the Riverside Art Museum and its journey from a community swimming pool to the Julia Morgan building.
This is a free, family-friendly event that will take place during a Free Summer Sunday. No tickets required!
