Learn in community as we continue our Son Jarocho workshop series! This Son Jarocho workshop will be guided by Russell C. Rodríguez. In this 3- hour immersive workshop, you’ll learn about the dynamics of a “Fandango.” Learn to sing traditional versos, be introduced to the rhythmic footwork of zapateado, and explore the distinctive sounds of jarana while understanding the dynamics of a “Fandango” festivity. Musicians of all backgrounds are invited to bring their instruments and join the celebration.
