Anticipating their exhibition Eclipse: What’s Your Perspective? at the Riverside Art Museum, Malik and Jonathan have much to reflect on. Their love for the city of San Bernardino led them to build a space of necessity, perseverance, and not taking no for an answer in the form of a photography studio @eclipsespaces
Jonathan: “We found ourselves in a renaissance of artists and businesses in San Bernardino and the IE in general. And I think that we started this with the intention of it being bigger than us.” – @323.raw
Malik: “I really look at what this project’s brought out of me, it’s really, really essential to even the photographer I’m becoming. And I think I wouldn’t be the photographer I’ve really been chasing the entire time if I didn’t go through this, because of the sense of Black community, the sense of business, and even how I’m navigating that world too.” – @maliklphoto
