TELL ME MORE ABOUT PLANNED GIVING.

“The Riverside Art Museum is the crown jewel of Riverside from its Julia Morgan-designed Mediterranean revival architecture to its 60-year history of outstanding educational programming and exhibitions. The Riverside Art Museum is the only Riverside museum that is not supported by city or state funds. As such, it has had to be creative and resilient. It has been able to survive because of the generous support of its donors over the years.

As a second generation volunteer to the museum, it’s a passion and privilege for me to be able to not only donate my time, but also to name the Riverside Art Museum as a beneficiary of my estate.”

— Sarah Smith

Planned giving is the transfer of assets to a designated non-profit during your lifetime or as part of an estate plan. This forward-thinking approach often offers tax benefits either now or in the future.

Planned giving is easy to do and you don’t have to be wealthy to do it. Whether it is naming your favorite charity in your will or trust for a modest amount, or a gift of house and property, there is an easy option that is right for you.

By helping to ensure the sustainability of the Riverside Art Museum, generations to come will benefit from your gift. Your support will be long remembered and will serve as an inspiration to others.

The Riverside Art Museum recognizes and honors those who acknowledge the museum with a future gift through a bequest, life insurance, or trust arrangement – or an outright gift to the Riverside Art Museum endowment. Naming and dedication opportunities may be considered for gifts of $10,000 or more.

If you believe in the power of art to inspire and engage our diverse community and want to ensure the Riverside Art Museum’s continuing role as the leading visual arts museum in our region, please email Valerie Found at vfound@riversideartmuseum.org.
