DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 1st at 6PM for ArtsWalk at The Cheech!  \n\n\n\nIn the Sala José Jaime Medina\, Aguatl of Milpa Music (@milpamusica) will be DJing all night. \n\n\n\nThen\, join us in our Education Classroom for Art Workshop with Mayra Zambrano (@mayras_artique) and Bee Cisneros (@dualityofbee)\, artists featured in Hogar Dulce Hogar. Hogar Dulce Hogar features 18 artists from the I.E. Each artwork expresses the meaning of “Hogar Dulce Hogar” or similar to “Home Sweet Home”. In this workshop\, hosted by Mayra Zambrano and Bee Cisneros\, we encourage participants to paint what that might mean for them. Participants will learn basic painting and color skills. Each canvas painted will then be collected by Mayra and Bee to be assembled into create a larger mosaic. This mosaic will depict the Riverside bell emblem as it is well known throughout our community! \n\n\n\nThis is a free\, family-friendly event! No tickets required!

At Chaffey College\, May teaches Public Speaking\, Interpersonal Communication and Small Group Communication. \nMay has exhibited his art at the Temecula Valley Museum\, Riverside Art Museum\, San Bernardino County Museum\, UCR ARTS at the California Museum of Photography\, Hampton University Museum\, Studio B Gallery\, The Arts Area\, Cecil Fergerson Gallery\, Brea Art Gallery\, M. DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, June 6th \n\n\n\nTime: 6:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nLocation: Riverside Art Museum – Rooftop (Accessible by stairs and elevator) \n“ARTCLASH” with SickBlessing is Artist Pablo Damas (SICKdotONE) and DJ DominicDoloiras (B.BLESS). \nCome witness as 12 artist clash in 3 rounds of live painting. Six artists will be battling in each of the first 2 rounds\, with the top 4 artists facing off in the championship round. The night will be filled with live art\, live DJ sets ending with the championship round taking place on the RAM rooftop followed with more music and drinks. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public during Riverside ArtsWalk.

With ribbon\, hot glue\, rhinestones\, and a hair tie\, you can easily create a beautiful hair bow that can be worn for a variety of occasions. This event is suitable for all ages. Moon Castagnari will show participants how to decorate foam cutouts of various sports symbols and adhere them to a magnet. Customize the magnet with your name\, school\, or team! \n \n\n\n \nTime: 3:00 p.m. \n\n\n \nLocation: Riverside Art Museum – Atrium (Downstairs) \nTaylor Moon Castagnari’s artist talk will dive into the connections between psychology\, the brain\, and cheerleading. She will relay how her 8 years of experience as a cheerleader and her journey with mental health led her to ideate her solo exhibition\, The Balancing Act. She will compare how balance\, flexibility\, and synchronicity are necessary elements in both cheer and neuroscience. DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday\, June 2nd \n\n\n\nTime: 12:00 p.m. – 4 p.m. \n\n\n\nLocation: Riverside Art Museum – DJs will be spinning on the roof top (accessible via stairs and elevator). Cars will be parked outside on Mission Inn Avenue\, between Lime St and Orange St. \n\n\n\nThere is nothing more relaxing than a Sunday with music and classic cars. Bring the family out to enjoy vinyl collectors as they share their treasure trove of music with us. There will be 6 different collectors sharing their unique styles of music – Succs 2 B You\, Barrio Sounds Inland Empire\, Mr. Blue\, DJ Guracha\, Diana Ajay\, Ruben Molina\, La Gueritaa 89 and Aztec Parrot. Special guest singer Micayla Rivera. \n\n\n\nAdorning Mission Inn will be a display of classic cars and lowriders.
