DESCRIPTION:First Sundays is a community day in the arts & culture district of downtown Riverside.  \n\n\n\nFeaturing activities for all-ages\, the event takes place every first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. \n\n\n\nAs part of First Sundays\, Riverside Art Museum (Julia Morgan Building) and The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture are both free and open to the public from 12 to 5 p.m.  \n\n\n\nNo tickets are necessary.

He’ll share personal stories of how the residents with whom he collaborates face the social and environmental impacts of extractive industries (agriculture\, logistics\, oil) and resist exploitation\, whether through activism\, cultural preservation\, or the richness of family and daily life. \n\n\n\nFree \n\n\n\nThe exhibition “Noé Montes: Regional History” is on view through April 26\, 2026
