Classes are 5-week sessions on Tuesdays 10:00-11:30a.
In this series of homeschool classes, students will have the opportunity to build their art skills with five-class sessions that investigate Animal Art, Painting, or Sculpture techniques in depth. Every week, students will be able to explore a range of tools and materials, experience the fun of making art, and express themselves as they create individual art pieces of their own!
Animal Art
Calling all animal lovers! This class will explore all different types of animals, their ecosystems, and use a variety of art materials
September 5th-October 3rd
Painting
Create art with watercolor, tempera, acrylic and more!
October 10th- November 7th
Sculpture
Explore air-dry clay, paper mache, cardboard and more!

Scooby-Dooby-Doo!
October 10 – November 7 [Ages 6-12]
Join the mystery gang as they solve the mysteries of art to create artwork inspired by the gang’s various adventures using various forms of art mediums.
ARTPOP
November 14 – December 19 (no class November 21) [Ages 6-12]
Pop Art is in your face! Fun! And bursting with color! In this class, students will learn about the Pop Art movement and the artists that helped influence it. Students will create various masterpieces using various forms of art mediums.

Progressive Drawing Class: Beginners
October 11 – November 8 (Ages 8-15)
Want to learn how to draw? Let’s start with the basics. This class will begin with value, mark making, contour drawing, and cross-contour drawing.
Progressive Drawing Class: Intermediate
November 15 – December 20 (no class November 22) (Ages 8-15)
This class will teach intermediate drawing skills, including shading, perspective, and grid drawing. Must complete Beginning Drawing to register.

Fairytale Art Class
October 12 – November 9 (Ages 6-12)
In this class, we will be transported (mentally) to a different universe where dragons are real and the gnomes are thriving. Students will create a fantasy universe using a variety of art mediums.
Procreate Fun!
November 16 – December 21 (no class November 23) (Ages 6-12)
In this class, students will create digital art through the Procreate app. Students can choose to bring their personal Ipads or use an Ipad provided by the museum.

Saturday Art Club

This class is open to kids of varying ages and interest levels. Students will stretch their creative capacities and expand their knowledge in the use of different art materials.

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your registration, a request must be submitted in writing and received one week prior to the start of class. A 15% fee is retained for cancellation by enrollee. No exceptions. *We require a minimum number of students to hold a class. In case of cancellation, parents will be notified through given contact information.
