Intro to Adobe Photoshop with Robin Luther

Adobe Photoshop has been the industry-standard software of choice for photo editing, graphic design, and creative digital art for nearly 30 years! Whether you're interested in using Photoshop to do basic photo editing, creative collages and photo composites, digital illustration and drawing, or graphic design, this class will help get you past that initial hurdle of understanding the program workspace. Each week, we'll complete an in-class digital art project together and discuss a particular aspect of Photoshop. We'll cover basic photo editing techniques and how to enhance your photos and apply creative filters, photo composite or collage techniques and how to blend images in a creative way, how to use text in your digital art projects, and more. Students must have a laptop with Adobe Photoshop downloaded on it before the first class. You may download a free trial of the program if you don't own it, but the trial lasts for only 30 days, so plan accordingly.
