Free Educational and Artist/Art Organization Resources

Thank you to everyone social distancing in order to look out for the most vulnerable around us. Doing so is a much appreciated sacrifice, but that doesn’t mean your life should have less art and wonder in it!

So we've created a list of fun, free art-related and non-art-related resources for children and adults that we will update on the regular. We've also posted resources for artists and other art organizations who need help.

Be sure to check out our new online exhibitions (they debut on Saturdays) and our Google Arts & Culture profile, too. And please follow us on Facebook and Instagram as well for more content!

If this list was helpful, please consider a small donation by texting ARTFUL to 44321 or clicking here
We are a non-profit museum and we wouldn't exist without donors like you.
We'll get through this, but not without your support.
Thank you, and until we re-open, take care of yourselves and each other.

First Sundays . . . @ Home!

While First Sundays @ RAM is cancelled for April, First Sundays @ Home is not! We partnered with Inlandia Institute to bring you a video done by our beloved regular storyteller Karen Rae Kraut and puppeteer Nicole Cloeren.

Karen told “Be Careful with Promises,” adapted from a Pueblo Indian story featuring Yellow Corn Girl and Grasshopper. Nicole showed the audience how groups can work effectively to use large numbers of puppets.

You can still make art at home as you normally would when at the museum by downloading and printing out this art activity sheet.

We've partnered with Inlandia to once again feature storytelling with Karen Rae Kraut and Nicole Cloeren!

They brought you an exciting cultural story—the Aussie Aboriginal tale "Rainbow Snake", with puppet action! Click the links to download three fun art activities you and the family can do at home.

First Sunday programming at RAM is brought to you in part by the generosity of Edison International, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Macy's.

Karen Rae Kraut and Nicole Cloeren's story time with puppets is made possible by a City of Riverside City Sponsorship Grant, the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation, and the California Arts Council.
